• Metrics was written in 2017 after Grant Bergland first saw one of his friends interacting with a virtual assistant.

• Dicky is voiced by the celebrity voice actor Johnny Brennan. Johnny Brennan is one of the most influential comedians in the world and is a multi-platinum award winner for his Jerky Boys records from the 1990s. Adam Sandler, John Leguizamo, Amy Schumer, Johnny Knoxville and hundreds of other comedians cite Johnny Brennan as one of their greatest inspirations.

• A trailer for Metrics was made in October of 2019 with a different cast and crew in order to make promotion materials for fund-raising.

• After editing and scoring the trailer for Metrics, the writer, Grant Bergland rebooted the entire project. No original cast members remained in the final version except for the voice of Marta played by Jessica Bettencourt and the voice of Dicky! played by Johnny Brennan.

• The Marta and Dicky! personal assistants were designed by sculptor C Neal.
